By mounting the fuel cell inside of the spare wheel well, just like the historic race cars, the weight is moved farther back, which can assist in the addition of rear-end grip, especially for vehicles running stiff race suspension and true rear coilovers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsing the Radium Engineering spare tire fuel cell (Part number 20-0611 R11A) we are able to install the fuel cell bracket without any cutting of the trunk or spare wheel well being required. The 10.5-gallon fuel cell drops in perfectly to the stock spare tire wheel well with a nice 1-inch gap between the fuel cell and the walls of the wheel well.
