It is both lighter and stronger than the factory brace and allows for more ground clearance. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThe unique 3-piece design allows for the center section to be removed for easy maintenance on the steering rack, clutch, transmission, and engine while leaving the suspension corner braces installed. The other benefit to having the center section removable is when these cars are lifted up on a hoist, the hoist arms are commonly placed on the corners of this brace, with the FDF brace, this is not a problem due to the 3-piece design.
