The 12mm raised bushing's average geometry correction (camber and toe) is from -5 degrees to -1.5 degrees depending on your suspension setup.

They are slightly stiffer than the OEM units which will cause a tiny bit more NVH to be transferred through the chassis, but the benefits greatly outweigh the small sacrifice in comfort. 80A is the softest poly bushing in our lineup and are perfect for a street performance E30 that will see the occasional autocross or track day. The OEM washer above and below the bushings will be reused. Save yourself a lot of time by getting the tools to do this job with ease! This will effectively space the differential back down 12mm from the raised subframe back into the factory position. This will allow the use of a standard centered differential bushing and maintains the factory driveline geometry. The second option is to simply run an offset differential bushing. This will allow the differential to be mounted to the subframe in the factory orientation and the repositioned hole in the differential bushing to line up with the factory bracket. This will change the driveline geometry in the rear! We have used both methods with success on street and track applications.

WHY SHOULD GO TO POLY REAR SUBFRAME BUSHINGS IN MY E30?

E30s are old. Those rear subframe bushings are tired. Chances are they have never been changed. You have installed a performance suspension setup, but you may still notice that the loose rear-end of the e30 is constantly dancing around and trying to kill you as you go around a turn or stepping out under hard acceleration. That's the worn-out rubber bushings allowing the e30 rear subframe to move around. This causes undesired changes in the rear suspension geometry and the car will become unstable and at times unpredictable. This is often accompanied by annoying clunking sounds and creaks. The poly rear subframe bushings keep everything where it should be under hard driving conditions and restores the precision and predictability of the handling characteristics. There will be a slight increase in road-noise transferred into the cabin.

COMPATIBILITY

Fits BMW 3 Series E30 (318, 323, 325 & M3)
DOES NOT FIT iX models
These Replace OEM Part Number 33311129144 (33-31-1-129-144)

INCLUDES

2 Raised E30 Rear Subframe Bushings

2 Inner Races

Lifetime Warranty!

USEFUL LINKS

Densities Explained: Poly vs Delrin vs Aluminum

E30 Subframe Bushing Buyer's Guide

Extended Studs/Spacers or Offset Diff Bushing?

Yes!
