By extending the coolant flow path, coolant stays in the radiator longer allowing for additional heat dissipation. While a triple pass may offer even more benefits in this regard, it also creates more resistance and in turn pressure drop. Depending on your setup, this might not be an ideal design. The shroud is made of TIG welded laser cut aluminum that bolts to either side of the radiator. The fans are 14 inch (355mm) SPAL ABL505P 12V Brushless Puller Fans (SPAL 30107102). Due to the lack of airflow from racing sideways, there is a huge burden on the cooling system. These fans combined with a precision made shroud offer ample airflow for the radiator in the most adverse conditions and situations.
