However, with its \"floating\" design it can fail under normal street use let alone any kind of performance driving. So we have the perfect solution. 80a soft poly is for that OEM + feel. That means you want a subtle upgrade for your street E46 without too much of a compromise in comfort, these are a happy medium. 80a are designed for the street enthusiast. 95a is great for dual purpose aggressive street and track applications. During hard direction changes, fast and sharp turns, and multiple clutch kicks, a lot of movement and abuse is transferred to the bushings that support the rear differential. After years of abuse, we noticed the polyurethane rear differential cover bushings take a significant amount of stress (the same reason why OEM bushings need to be replaced). To prevent these bushings from slipping out due to repeated force, we designed these cup-shaped washers to reinforce the polyurethane differential cover bushings and keep things nice and tight.
