The stock rubber bushings were just not designed for high loads without deflection. Couple that with the age and abuse we're putting them through and the deflection causes erratic handling both on and off throttle, in and out of the corners, just unpredictable grip and handling all the way around. Replacing the RTAB's with a quality bushing that eliminates the deflection of stock rubber bushings will make a dramatic difference in overall handling making the car far more predictable and controllable, even for daily use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #3366ff; text-decoration: underline;\"\u003eGeneral fitment and installation\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  The new bushings are designed to go directly into the stock location on the rear trailing arm and fit the factory mounting cup without any modifications. You will need to remove the arms from the car and remove the stock bushings to install the new bushings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #3366ff; text-decoration: underline;\"\u003eMaterial \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e   We call these our Pro Street RTAB's because they're a solid material but will outlast the Pro Comp Mono Balls for street use. The black Polyurethane bushings are the same hard material (70 Shore D) we use on the sub frame bushings, similar to Nylon or Delrin. The urethane still offers some vibration absorption compared to our mono ball versions, but you will definitely get an increase in road noise compared to stock rubber or our softer urethane versions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  While we call them a \"Street\" bushing, this is only due to the improved lifespan over mono balls. They are still going to transmit a lot more vibration into the chassis that was not found with the stock bushings.
