-The R-9228 (driver) and R-9229 (passenger) are designed to work with the R-9220/1/2/3 side mounts. They bolt directly to the OE slider that BMW used BMW used in the E46/E85/E86.

- The R-9228/9 properly located the belt to the seat for optimal safety. Because it moves with the slider, it stay properly located and the same length, regardless of seat position.

-Unlike aftermarket sliders, the BMW sliders were built to have belts mounted above them—that’s how the factory 3 point attaches to the car.
