1. What starter should be used with the PMC Motorsport Honda K K20 K24 - BMW adapter?

To install the adapter, use a Honda K K20 K24 starter.

2. What ring gear should be used with the PMC Motorsport Honda K K20 K24 - BMW flywheel?

When installing the PMC Motorsport Honda K K20 K24 flywheel, you do not need an additional ring gear. The PMC flywheel is equipped with a starter ring gear of the same hardness as OE. The ring gear is additionally galvanized, which increases its durability.

3. The GETRAG 250 / GETRAG 420 / ZF 310 / ZF 320 / ZF5 gearbox does not fit into all holes of the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter.

(Applies to adapters manufactured after 2022) The PMC Motorsport adapter is the most universal adapter available on the market, supporting almost every BMW gearbox. When designing the adapter, we decided on some compromises. This is the case with GETRAG 250 / GETRAG 420 / ZF 310 / ZF 320 / ZF5 gearboxes, where the two upper holes in the gearbox housing/bell need to be slightly ground. This modification does not affect the centering of the engine and gearbox.

4. Can I use the gearbox adapter with a 6-speed GS6-53DZ / GS6-53BZ gearbox?

Yes, the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter itself is universal and fits most BMW gearboxes available on the market. If you want to change the gearbox, simply replace the flywheel and clutch disc.

5. Can I use the PMC Motorsport Honda K K20 K24 - BMW gearbox adapter for ZF 8HP?

Yes, the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter itself is universal and fits most BMW gearboxes available on the market. If you want to change to a ZF 8HP automatic gearbox, you need to replace the standard flywheel with an 8HP converter adapter (PMC Motorsport).

6. What clutch can I use with the PMC Motorsport flywheel?

The Honda K K20 K24 - BMW ZF5 flywheel is designed for clutch pressure plates from BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58 / BMW E46 M3 / Sachs Performance 883082.001243. Very often, clutches from ACT / Spec / Tanaci are used with our kit (it is important that the custom clutch pressure plate also fits the BMW OE flywheel: BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58). For the gearbox you have, you should use a clutch disc with the appropriate splines, a dedicated release bearing kit, and a clutch slave cylinder.

7. What bolts should be used for the PMC Motorsport custom flywheel Honda K K20 K24 - BMW ZF5?

The PMC Motorsport Honda K K20 K24 - BMW ZF5 flywheel (K0M50-240-K) is not equipped with bolts for mounting to the crankshaft. You should use factory Honda K OE 90011-PNA-B00 bolts.
