You want to make some beautiful lightweight piece of art ? Add more strength to sheet of steel, aluminum, stainless steel ? These die are designed to flare at 45 degre with a radius of 1/4, your 1 inch hole will make a 1.500 inch at the outside of the flared hole. Can be used on a hydraulic press or with an hammer.
