When installing an intercooler on E36/E46 platforms, the front AC hard line running from the condenser to the dryer takes up over 2 inches of valuable space. This AC adapter fitting allows you to replace the factory hard line with a standard style braided line, creating significantly more room for larger intercoolers while keeping full AC functionality.
