Our BMW E30 (325), E36 (325) Aluminum Double Shear Selector Rod (DSSR) is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances and will eliminate all of the free play in your selector rod mechanism – leading to smoother, more precise shifts. This BMW double shear selector rod (DSSR) connects the bottom of the shifter lever to the transmission of your E30 (325), E36 (325).

OEM BMW selector rods utilize cheap plastic bushings and to make things worse, they are attached at both the transmission and the shifter lever from a single side. This design leads to the degradation of the selector rod, allowing up to an inch of movement within the OEM shifter mechanism. Our double shear selector rod (DSSR) will improve the shifting of your OEM shifter and most aftermarket shifters. Made of solid CNC’d 7075-T6 aluminum alloy which is stronger and lighter than other cheap stainless steel options available. Engineered for a perfect fit. Includes heavy-duty mounting hardware.
