AKG Motorsport - BMW Performance Trans Mount – E21 (TMU21)

This BMW E21 Performance Trans Mount will greatly reduce movement of the transmission under load – improving both shifting and power transfer through the drivetrain. The stock trans mount deflects as torque moves through the drivetrain, allowing the motor and transmission assembly to move. Reduce this movement and improve your shifting with our BMW E21 performance trans mount.

Our performance transmission mount utilizes an OEM E21 mount coupled with our precision CNC’d aluminum trans cup to prevent side-to-side movement – yielding an excellent performance trans mount set that doesn’t significantly increase NVH. This BMW performance trans mount may be paired with either OEM engine mounts, or our polyurethane motor mounts.

This trans mount is our performance-spec mount (as opposed to our race-spec 75D compound). It is designed for those who want a noticeable increase in performance out of their vehicle, but would still like to retain as much of a comfortable ride as possible (such as with a daily driver).
