AKG Motorsport - BMW Performance Trans Mounts – E30, E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, Z4

These BMW E30, E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, Z4 Performance Trans Mounts will greatly reduce movement of the transmission under load – improving both shifting and power transfer through the drivetrain. The stock trans mounts deflect as torque moves through the drivetrain, allowing the motor and transmission assembly to move. Reduce this movement and improve your shifting with our BMW E30, E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, Z4 performance trans mount set. 

Our performance transmission mounts utilize OEM E21 mounts, which are made of a harder rubber and utilize beefier bolts than the stock trans mounts on these models. We then couple them with our precision CNC’d aluminum trans cups to prevent side-to-side movement – yielding an excellent performance trans mount set that doesn’t significantly increase NVH. These BMW performance trans mounts may be paired with either OEM engine mounts, or our polyurethane motor mounts.

These trans mounts are our performance-spec mounts (as opposed to our race-spec 75D compound). They are designed for those who want a noticeable increase in performance out of their vehicle, but would still like to retain as much of a comfortable ride as possible (such as with a daily driver).

Set includes two OEM E21 trans mounts with precision CNC’d 6061-T6 aluminum cups. Hardware Included. Note: you must slightly enlarge the mounting holes (about 1mm) to fit the larger bolts that these mounts use.
