AKG Motorsport - BMW Trans Mount Cups, Aluminum – E30, E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, Z4

These BMW E30, E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, Z4 Aluminum Trans Mount Cups limit side to side movement of the transmission mounts under load, improving power transfer through the drivetrain. Our aluminum BMW trans mount cups are designed to be used with OEM E21 transmission mounts (#23.71.1.109.173), which are made of a harder rubber and utilize beefier bolts than the stock trans mounts. When our aluminum cups are paired with these transmission mounts, they create an excellent performance trans mount set that doesn’t significantly increase NVH. 

BMW uses rubber trans mounts to limit NVH from the transmission. These rubber mounts deflect as torque moves through the drivetrain allowing the engine and transmission assembly to move. Reduce transmission movement without a significant increase in NVH with our BMW E30, E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, Z4 aluminum trans mount cups.
