BMW introduced VANOS in the early 90s, and it added variable valve timing to their famous straight six. Over time the VANOS unit wears out and you can develop error codes, or the famous VANOS rattle. The rattle will sound like marbles or rocks at the front of the engine rolling around. We have sourced quality replacement parts in an easy kit. Our kit is offered in 3 different versions.
