Newly developed bolt on dual caliper kit for the C5/C6 Corvette.

Bolt on design requires no modification to the factory knuckle other than removal of dust shield and parking brake system.

  • Simple and straight forward installation

  • 4x Caliper Mounting bolts 
  • 4x Pad retaining cotter-pins 

 

**Please note a 90 degree fitting may have to be used with some line hydraulic line installs.

GREAT!

Works well on my C5 now after some changes but smaller caliper than expected.

I was surprised the caliper was as small as it was. I ordered a kit for my E36 M3 at the same time and it has a much bigger caliper (dual piston vs single). I struggled at first with getting a firm handbrake feel. I bled over a gallon through thinking I possibly had air in it. I think I made two mistakes. 1) I went with the aggressive pads. They chewed through my new rotors and made a TON of brake dust. 2) I went with the default 5/8" Brake Master. I wasn't happy with how it felt and ended up getting a 3/4" brake master and replaced the pads with the BP-40s. After that the thing is nice and stiff. I think you could go with the size in between those masters as well. I'm happy with it now but definitely wish I would have considered the alternative dual piston caliper setup that DriftHQ sells. But for the price this is worth it.

C5/c6 dual calipers

Installed on a C5. Was a fairly big job removing the hub assemblies. This kit fit very nice and works wonderful as expected!!

These things are awesome! The price of these including full calipers and pads is incredible, good luck finding anything better. (Just a little tip for any C6 guys, I swapped my rear wheel hubs to 2006 Cadillac CTS (base model V6) hubs and you then can run 5x115 wheels Vs standard 5x120, if anyone cares to know.) I definitely reccomend these to anyone for simplicity and ease of install purpose. Can’t wait to use them this season!
