E36 to JZ Motor Mount Brackets

       Putting in a JZ? These motor brackets are a good idea to start your swap right!

General Fitment

 The JZ actually fits quite nicely into the E36 chassis, we've also given the brackets a slot at the base to allow for some adjustment front to rear. The mount brackets will fit with stock height rubber mounts as well as our Urethane motor mounts for the E36 chassis. If your motor mounts are shorter then stock or squished, the fitment may not be correct! These brackets are currently only direct fit for the LHD chassis. RHD can fit with some trimming of the bracket for steering shaft clearance.

The JZ installation in an E36 requires the use of a JZ Mid sump/rear sump oil pan typical to the oil pan found in an SC300/MK4 Supra. GS300 and JZX90/100 front sump pans do NOT work.

Material and Design

Made from 1/4" laser cut steel, formed, gusseted and plated, these mounts are simple, strong and accurate. Our manufacturing design uses only 1 part to build the main bracket structure and then add gussets. This 1 + 1 design allows us to supply a strong, quality product with less welding making manufacturing accurate and efficient. We've also included new bolting hardware so you don't have to use the old bolts that are probably getting messed up from age and grit anyway.

To make the install a bit easier, we've also developed a transmission cross member! Part number B-E36-TMT-TCM.

 Some aftermarket motor mounts (rubber insulators or solid) are made to lower the stock motor, these will cause an interference with the JZ install. Our brackets are made to work with stock height mounts such as our urethane motor mounts, part number B-E36-UMM-S20.
