FDF Raceshop - BMW E46 Subframe Angle Kit Brace

The E46 chassis has a front suspension design that allows for high angle clearance, the perfect steering rack location and easy to work on suspension. Its one downside is the fragile single shear subframe mount, but the Subframe Angle Kit brace strengthens this mount!

Angle kits have extended control arms, which increase the leverage on the mount and can cause failures in the subframe and in the ball joint stud. Using this brace creates a double-shear mount, tripling the strength of the mounting area and preventing fatigue from occurring. So, even in the event of an accident, this brace will help focus the energy on the suspension arms instead of on the subframe.
