Improved Racing - Factory oil cooler delete kit, 6th Generation Camaro V8, 2016-2019 CTS-V

The factory water-to-oil cooler on the Gen 6 V8 Camaro SS can be overwhelmed during spirited driving. This can cause coolant and oil temperatures to rise to unsafe levels.

This kit allows you to remove the factory cooler, which is a necessary step for upgrading to a more efficient air-to-oil cooling system. It provides the essential hardware to properly cap the coolant ports on the radiator and water pump.

This kit is designed to be used with an oil cooler adapter (such as part number EGM-136, sold separately) which replaces the original factory cooler.

• 1 x 5/8'' ID Rubber Coolant Barb Cap
• 1 x Worm-Drive Clamp
• 1 x Replacement Viton O-ring
• 1 x Aluminum -10AN ORB Cap

• 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS.

Installation Notes

• This kit requires re-using one of the factory quick-connect coolant fittings to cap the water pump port.

• If your engine is missing the factory cooler fittings, you must purchase the quick-connect fitting separately (GM Part # 12662820).

• A new Viton O-ring for this fitting is included to ensure a leak-free seal.

• An oil cooler adapter (part # EGM-136, sold separately) is required to replace the factory cooler and provide ports for an external air-to-oil cooler.

• If you are deleting the factory cooler without adding an external one, you must still install part # EGM-136 and loop its inlet and outlet ports together with an AN hose.
