Improved Racing - Performance Coolant Port Plug for GM Gen III-V LS & LT Engines

All of GM's Gen III, IV, and V small block engines use the same plug to cap off the coolant passage on the driver's side of the engine block. The OEM plug from GM suffers issues with poor quality, poor availability, and high cost, so we decided to machine our own. These are the same plugs included in Improved Racing's oil cooler kits.

Improved Racing's coolant port plug is machined from steel and clear zinc-plated for durability. These plugs are much higher quality and lower in cost than the OEM plugs. Instead of using thread sealant paste like the OEM plugs, we include a sealing washer made from zinc-plated steel and nitrile rubber. 

This coolant plug is required when deleting the factory oil cooler on the 2010+ Chevrolet Camaro, 2009+ Chevrolet Corvette, Cadillac CTS-V, and most other vehicles equipped with the factory water-to-oil cooler.

The plug has a Metric M28 x 1.25 mm straight thread and internal hex for torquing and removal.
