OVERVIEW
The original concentric slave cylinders used by Nissan are flimsy plastic units which are prone to failure, especially on vehicles with upgraded or heavy-duty clutches. The JIT Slave Cylinder is of cast iron construction, and with a more durable boot design, making it much more reliable in even the most demanding conditions..
WARNING, if you don't replace your master cylinder at the same time, warranty will be voided.
When replacing the slave cylinder, we highly recommend replacing the master cylinder at the same time. Contaminants in the fluid often cause the masters to fail at or near the same time, and opening and re-bleeding the system tends to facilitate failure
