Note: This Plug-in features a new 4 pin powered CAN connector and cannot use the old CANPCB cable for CAN connection.  Use the CANJST4 (Code 101-0198) cable for connecting CAN devices.  This new 4 pin port and cable provide not only the CAN connection, but also a protected 12V power supply and ground for powering the CAN devices.  The power supply is protected by a self-resetting fuse rated at 3A continuous.

Honestly, it’s the most complete ECU offering for the S2000 on the market.

There’s a slight bit of elbow grease needed for the install, but is that really a problem for anyone? A small modification with a dremel to shave the two mounting tabs down to allow clearance for the motherboard & a 1/2in drill bit to run the accessory cables out through the case is really a nothing-burger in the grand scheme of things.

Having already had a base-map flashed on the unit straight from Link made things super simple, I only had to adjust the fuel map to compensate for the 525cc injectors I have on my car instead of the factory 38Xcc units, but again a nothing-burger issue. Everything was mad simple, & I’m glad Link finally brought out an S2000 offering.

Bonus is that since this goes mounted in the factory ECU case & position, it is the cleanest install solution by far. No massive bulkhead connector & an additional foot of wire to have to struggle with in such a limited space made this much easier to deal with.

Plus, I can’t recommend the service over the phone from these guys enough. Confirmed availability at the supplier, & shipped out the same day. It arrived 2 days later… Definitely can’t beat that.
