Massive hydro handbrake adapting kit
If you want to easily install an auxiliary hydraulic handbrake system to your drift car, this is the kit for you. It is designed to work with Wilwood's 120-9703 calipers w/ 4x 1.375" pistons, or with 120-16493 w/ 4x1.75" pistons. In any case, the original handbrake shoes as well as the backing plates must be removed.
3 versions of the kit are available
e36/e46 (non-M) - e36 M3 rotors/calipers must be fitted. The wheel hub can stay in place when doing the installation. You can check the pictures depicting the installation.
e36 M3. Original e36 M3 rotors and calipers stay in place. Hub must be pulled to install the main adapter.
e46 M3. Original e46 M3 rotors and calipers stay in place. Hub must be pulled to install the main adapter.
These hydro handbrake adapters are made from heavy gauge steel which will not break like aluminum. The main adapter can simply be bolted in four points using supplied 12.9 grade Allen bolts. And being steel, the main round adapters can also be stitch welded for even extra strength.
