The ZF Friedrichshafen GS5-39DZ 5-speed manual transmission (S5-39DZ), thanks to its high durability (1000Nm+) and low price, is an ideal solution for cars prepared for drifting. The ZF GS5-39DZ was installed in BMWs with the cast-iron M57 engine, such as the E39 530D 525D and E46 530D.
