PMC Motorsport O2 Sensor Adapter / Emulator 3 mm
The universal O2 sensor adapter/emulator with a 3 mm offset (also commonly referred to as a spacer) is a practical solution used in exhaust systems. It is installed between the catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor, providing a slight offset of the sensor from the exhaust gas stream. This helps prevent the check engine light from appearing after removing the catalytic converter.
Applications and benefits:
- Reduction of frequent engine errors (CEL) – offsetting the sensor is often effective in reducing errors related to the catalytic converter or its replacement.
- Optimization of oxygen sensor performance, especially in tuned systems (e.g. sports catalytic converter or catalytic converter removal).
