FAQ

1. Which starter motor should be used with the PMC Motorsport Honda S2000 - BMW adapter?

For mounting the adapter, use a Honda S2000 starter motor.

2. Which ring gear should be used with the PMC Motorsport Honda S2000 - BMW flywheel?

When installing the PMC Motorsport Honda K K20 K24 flywheel - you do not need an additional ring gear. The PMC flywheel is equipped with a starter ring gear of the same hardness as OE. The ring gear is additionally galvanized, which increases its durability

3. The GETRAG 250 / GETRAG 420 / ZF 310 / ZF 320 / ZF5 gearbox does not fit into all holes of the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter.

(Applies to adapters manufactured after 2022) The PMC Motorsport adapter is the most universal adapter available on the market, supporting practically every BMW gearbox. When designing the adapter, we decided on certain concessions. This is the case with GETRAG 250 / GETRAG 420 / ZF 310 / ZF 320 / ZF5 gearboxes, where the two upper holes in the gearbox housing/bellhousing need to be slightly ground. This modification does not affect the centering of the engine and gearbox.

4. What clutch can I use with the PMC Motorsport flywheel?

The Honda S2000 - BMW ZF5 flywheel has been designed for clutch pressure plates from BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58 / BMW E46 M3 / Sachs Performance 883082.001243. Clutches from ACT / Spec / Tanaci are very often used with our kit (it is important that the custom clutch pressure plate also fits the BMW OE flywheel: BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58). For your gearbox, you need to use a clutch disc with the appropriate splines, a dedicated release bearing kit, and a clutch slave cylinder.

5. What bolts should be used for the custom PMC Motorsport Honda S2000 F20C F22C1 - BMW ZF5 flywheel?

The PMC Motorsport Honda S2000 F20C F22C1 - BMW ZF5 (K0M50-240-F) flywheel is not equipped with bolts for mounting to the crankshaft. You should use factory Honda F OE bolts
