New for 2013: Tick Performance proudly presents our brand new Elite Series of Camshafts specifically for LS7 Engines! Using the latest and greatest technology available, industry-renowned camshaft expert Martin Smallwood was able to mastermind a complete line of Camshafts that are designed to meet every goal from mild to wild. Our Elite Series of Camshafts are all manufactured by COMP Cams and feature a mixture of LXL, LSL and HUC lobes (with a few other tricks up our sleeve, as well.) Although we suggest measuring for piston-to-valve clearance during ANY camshaft install, every Elite Series Camshaft is designed to fit in a stock engine & stock heads with adequate clearance unless otherwise noted. These cams are designed to maximize power, reliability and valvetrain longevity.

The Tick Performance Turbo Stage 2 Camshaft will work well in an application when you start to get into some of the larger turbine’s that are offered for most of the single turbochargers available. Some examples would be: S480 with 96mm turbine, Garret units like the GT4788 and other similar sized turbos such as the GT88, GT91 and some Comp turbochargers. A 3.42-3.73 rear gear for a manual or a 3600+ stall for an automatic is recommended for use with this camshaft. BTR Platinum or Max Pressure springs are recommended for use with this cam. Read valve spring description to determine which spring is right for your particular application.
