Tilton TBR-1 brake fluid is designed for the semi-pro racer and weekend track enthusiast. It features a high dry boiling point of up to 590 degrees F that makes it perfect for a high performance vehicles elevated brake temperatures.

TBR-1 brake fluid meets and exceeds all DOT 4 specifications and comes in convenient 250ml bottles. All brake fluid absorbs moisture found in the air, and this lowers its boiling point. Tiltons bottles are half the size of a typical bottle (Motul and Brembo are in 500ml bottles): That means you have less fluid in open fluid bottles on the shelf with leftover fluid waiting fluid! Great idea.

DOT 4 is the grade applicable to most 'race engineered' brake systems, such as Wilwood and Tilton master cylinders, used for clutch and brake systems, etc. Due to DOT 4 fluids viscosity, its well suited to systems without ABS

  • Miscible with other DOT fluids (3, 4, 5.1) *Not miscible with silicone or silicate esters fluids (DOT 5)*
