If you're going to do an early manual tranmission swap into a later model chassis, you'll have a problem with the lower 4 stud pattern on the transmission mount fitting into the later style aluminum crossmember.

We've made these hybrid mounts to adapt the smaller early style upper transmission pattern like a MK3 Supra to the wider bottom pattern typical to the MK4 Supra, SC300/400 and newer cars.

The bottom mount plate also has some adjustment with the slotting we've added but this does require you drill a 1 1/2" hole in the center of the cross member with a hole saw to clear the center nut. This mount does NOT directly bolt to late model crossmembers.
