We have designed the Garagistic extended selector joint as a solution for those who need to either extended the overall length of their DSSR by 10mm, or want to mount their chassis shifter 10mm further back on the transmission tunnel. 

This is the biggest small difference you can make to your shifter! No one wants a shifter that's not centered (not to mention it's a maintenance item that you need to change when putting your DSSR either way!).

Produced in-house out of billet aluminum, we have taken the 30+-year-old selector joint design and brought it up to date by swapping out the plastic stationary bushing for a precision sealed bearing assembly and extending it 10mm. By utilizing our new DSSR hardware shoulder bolt that replaces the traditional pins and clips, this new design allows you to snug the DSSR down on the selector joint without any binding and further eliminates any remaining slop in the shifter assembly for absolute precision.

Fitment

WHAT CARS WILL THIS BMW SHIFT SELECTOR JOINT WORK IN?

• Any BMW model that needs to extended the overall length of either their factory selector rod or DSSR by 10mm, without having to make a custom DSSR.
• These are NOT intended for use with Supreme Shifter.
  • You will want to use an OEM length selector rod or DSSR with the Supreme shifter! 
• Does NOT fit E36 or Newer Chassis
• OEM Selector Rod fitment
  • Please Note: Factory OEM BMW selector rod pins may have slight variations in thickness and therefore some pins may have a tighter fit on our selector joints. This can be resolved with a quick cleaning (to remove grime and debris). In some cases, light sanding may be required. Our selector joints are a perfect fit for all of our DSSRs.
