These mounts are a good compromise between a solid mount and a full poly bushing. Installation is about two hrs. I torqued the engine mounts to 18lbs and the transmission mounts to 12lbs. Noticable vibration from idle until about 3k rpm. The performance gains are instant, from straight line acceleration to solid shifting in the corners. Tracking your E46 with old factory mounts will result in money shift. Do yourself a favor and pick these up. Quality is top notch, deliver was fast. Price was much better at Drifthq than Turner or ECS.
