AKG Motorsport - BMW 2002 Engine Mount Reinforcement Plate

This BMW 2002 Front Subframe Engine Mount Reinforcement Plate welds onto the left front subframe engine mount location to reinforce the area around the motor mount – virtually eliminating the possibility of the mount ripping out of the subframe. The BMW 2002 front subframe is prone to cracking around the left motor mount, due to torque traveling through the mount under load.

Our proven, heavy-duty engine mount reinforcement plate is the thickest available and is designed to properly reinforce this failure prone area. Highly recommended for all 2002’s, especially those that are heavily tracked/raced. Rid yourself of the worries with our BMW 2002 front subframe engine mount reinforcement plate. The same plate we used on our tricked-out, swapped 02’s in the 80’s!

A great time to reinforce the front subframe engine mount is when replacing the motor mounts or dropping the front subframe for work. Professional installation recommended – welding required.
