The FDF C5/C6 Tie Rod Upgrade is designed specifically for FDF kits but can also be adapted to work with other setups. Its main purpose is to provide a much stronger inner tie rod to handle the additional forces applied to the steering rack during drifting. With increased steering angle and leverage, factory inner tie rods tend to fail prematurely—this upgrade eliminates that problem.

Built to last, these tie rods are the same setup used on all our Pro Angle Kits and featured on FDF-supported cars driven by Adam LZ, Dylan Hughes, Tommy Lemaire, and more. None of them have needed to replace an inner joint after years of professional competition and countless impacts.
