The HEL Performance Mustang S550 braided brake line kit has been manufactured in-house, assembled, and machine-crimped directly onto high-quality stainless steel braided hose, ensuring an exact match to your standard brake hoses. Each HEL brake line kit arrives complete with every essential component, resulting in a smooth and straightforward installation.

Key Features:

• Eliminates soft, sponge-like braking and delivers consistent performance:  Standard rubber brake hoses can expand under pressure during harsh braking, leading to a soft and unpredictable pedal feel. In contrast, HEL braided brake hoses feature a durable 3-layer construction that withstands extreme pressures and temperatures, ensuring superior braking response, modulation, and control. While standard rubber hoses last about 5 years, HEL replacements offer a lifetime of reliability at a similar price.
• Unrivalled durability and abrasion resistance: HEL manufactures all brake hose fittings from high-quality 303/304 stainless steel. The robust PTFE inner core provides exceptional chemical resistance and extreme temperature tolerance, preventing perishing or cracking over time. Reinforced by a high-strength stainless steel overbraid, the hose is further protected against wear. A wipe-clean PVC cover finishes the hose, safeguarding body panels and paint from scratches.

• HEL's unique, trend-setting hose fitting and ferrule design: HEL’s brake line fittings feature a unique internal multi-groove design that creates dual-purpose sealing o-rings during assembly. This design allows for free and secure rotation of the fittings post-hydraulic swaging, maintaining hose integrity while enabling precise fitment adjustments. The internally located locking groove on the hose ferrule aligns with the fitting, ensuring a secure connection that prevents detachment.
