BMW introduced the VANOS system in the late 90s which controls variable valve timing for camshafts and later exhaust camshafts.  Over time, the seals is the units wear out causing check engine lights, and degraded performance.  Rebuild your M62tu VANOS unit with this upgraded, high quality VANOS rebuild kit.

Common Symptoms:
- Loss of torque and power, especially in the lower and middle RPM range
- Difficult acceleration
- Decreased gas mileage
- Loud and uneven Idle

Kits included upgraded FKM (viton) orings which last twice as long and can withstand more heat than the stock buna rubber.  Also includes upgraded Teflon seal rings (mix of carbon fiber/bronze). 

Kit includes FREE centering ring tool for installation.
