Drift HQ - JZ Secondary Belt Idler Pulley

Drift HQ is now offering a perfect solution for high RPM/Limiter happy JZ's, this Accessory Drive Pulley is an addition to the current belt routing meant to keep the accessory belt in rotation on limiter at high rpm. This pulley as pictured is designed to be installed onto the face of your current OEM/Gates JZ belt tensioner and is machined with raised sidewall's to both maintain belt position while adding the necessary tension on the accessory belt to prevent it from popping off under extreme conditions ( Lots of Rev Limiter ). 

Installation of this pulley requires the removal of the accessory belt then the tensioner assembly. Once Removed you will drill into the center of the tensioner assembly to accommodate the short end threads of the stud included with the kit, Be sure to not drill this out to wide! you need enough material to properly tap threads for M10 x 1.5. It is also important that you only drill as far as you need to for the stud short end to be fully threaded in, the tensioner center assembly is not solid and can be drilled through which will cause issues down the road. Once Drilled and tapped you will use high heat JB WELD to ensure the stud remains in place then install your pulley, crush washer, then nyloc nut included with the kit followed by your accessory belt in the current routing.
