E30 BOOSTERLESS CONVERSION PLUMBING KIT

Description

This is optional, but we strongly recommend this plumbing kit we designed for use with our boosterless brake setup to simplify installation and provide a clean finished product. It can be used with other brake booster delete units on the market as well. This makes the plumbing of the lines a bolt-on affair. Some customers prefer to bend new lines, this is for those who do not want to make custom brake lines and simply plug in lines from the newly relocated master cylinder under the dash, to the brake lines that are still in the engine bay. It includes a block-off plate for the firewall.

The block-off plate is machined from a billet piece of 6061 Aluminum. The 3 upper holes are for new brake lines routing (1 for clutch, and 2 for brake lines). The 3 lower protrusions are for the reservoirs to slip into the master cylinders. Kit includes a powder-coated L bracket to hold your Tilton reservoir (sold separately) or your 3 Wilwood reservoir included in our E30 boosterless brake conversion. Also includes all needed stainless steel brake lines. 2 brake hoses (-3an to metric), 1 -3an clutch line (and -3an to BMW clutch line fitting) as well as 3 90 degree fittings. (1 longer clutch line, and 2 shorter brake lines). Please note that the reservoir mount off the firewall does not allow a standard strut bar to be installed.

ABS Option

We now offer two versions of the plumbing kit. 1 for cars that keep their ABS, and a partial kit for those deleting their ABS. For those of you deleting your ABS unit, you will no longer need the provided lines. You will need to get custom lines made to bypass your ABS unit.
