Have you have ever been in your E46 M3 and as you release the clutch from a dead stop heard and felt a loud "thud" coming from the rear of the car? Or when you shift quickly or during hard use and every shift your differential sounds like it's trying to escape the rear of your car? Those noises are a sure sign of a worn or failed differential bushing.

The OEM bushing for the E46 M3 is essentially a solid bushing as it consists of a really thick aluminum race with a thin layer of cloth-like material wrapped between the race and the outer metal shell. This layer of cloth-like material makes this OEM bushing difficult to press in and out, so we decided to make our own aluminum bushing replacement. This bushing can be paired with any durometer of diff cover bushing, 80A, 95A, Delrin, even OEM!

This aluminum bushing will eliminate play at the front differential mounting point allowing for better power transfer to the wheels and no more clunks and thuds! Keep your diff in line with Garagistic polyurethane differential mounts for your E46 M3.
