FDF - BMW E46 SUBFRAME ANGLE KIT BRACE

The E46 chassis has a fantastic front suspension design that allows for high angle clearance, the perfect steering rack location and easy to work on suspension. But, one of the downsides is the single shear subframe mount.

Angle kits have extended control arms, which increase the leverage on the mount and can cause failures in the subframe and in the ball joint stud. Using this brace will create a double shear mount which triples the strength of the mounting area and prevents the fatigue from occurring. So, even in the event of an accident, this brace will help focus the energy on the suspension arms instead of on the subframe. 

This brace includes all hardware required to install, and fits SLR, wisefab and FDF angle kits. This brace does not work with any factory control arms or any angle kits that use factory ball joints.
