Parts are intended for installation by professionals with knowledge of engine SWAPs and car modifications - in workshops using appropriate tools.
The adapter installation manual contains only the basic knowledge necessary to physically connect the engine to the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on the specific car, additional modifications may be required, such as: adjusting mounts, cushions, engine bulkhead, transmission tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.

To install the flywheel, it is necessary to use Honda OE 90011-RBD-000 bolts (not included). The clutch fork must be mounted on the lower position of the release bearing (in the case of a two-position bearing).

For the installation of the adapter, a Honda OE starter motor must be used.
3. Can I use the PMC Motorsport Honda - BMW gearbox adapter for a ZF 8HP?
Yes, the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter itself is universal and fits most BMW gearboxes available on the market (applies to adapters manufactured after 2022). If you wish to switch to a ZF 8HP automatic transmission, the standard flywheel must be replaced with an 8HP torque converter adapter (PMC Motorsport).
4. Which clutch can I use with the PMC Motorsport flywheel?
The Honda - BMW flywheel is designed for a clutch pressure plate from BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58 / BMW E46 M3 / Sachs Performance 883082.001243. Clutches from ACT / Spec / Tanaciare very often used with our kit (it is important that the aftermarket pressure plate also fits the BMW OE flywheel: BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58). For your gearbox, use a clutch disc with the appropriate spline, a dedicated release kit, and a slave cylinder.
