Custom aluminum flywheel / adapter allowing for the connection (swap / conversion) of the BMW M50 S50 M52 S52 M54 S54 engine with the manual 6-speed ZF (ZF Friedrichshafen) GS6-53BZ gearbox from a BMW. The adapter is designed for 7.25" POT-type clutches (based on Tilton OT-II Cerametallic Pressure Plate 7.25" 66-312xxx 66-013xxx - fits other clutches meeting Tilton dimensions). This adapter is intended for professional motorsport only!

The adapter installation manual contains only basic knowledge necessary for the physical connection of the engine with the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on the car, additional modifications may occur, such as: fitting mounts, bushings, engine firewall, gearbox tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.

No additional gearbox adapter is required to connect the BMW M50 S50 M52 S52 M54 S54 engine with the manual 6-speed gearbox from a BMW N54. The installation is practically P&P; the two upper holes of the GS6-53BZ gearbox must be slightly ground for proper fitment - this procedure does not affect the centering of the engine and gearbox.
