Parts are intended for installation by professionals with knowledge of engine SWAPs and car modifications - in workshops and using tools appropriately adapted for this purpose.
The adapter installation manual contains only basic knowledge necessary for the physical connection of the engine with the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on the car, additional modifications may occur, such as: fitting mounts, bushings, engine firewall, gearbox tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.
Our adapters are made from materials that are fully recyclable.
The flywheel requires the use of a PMC gearbox adapter. For installation, it is necessary to use an OE Chevrolet LS automatic transmission flexplate (part no. 12654640 12553054 12563136 12580709 12602448 12606620 12637677, not included). The clutch release fork should be mounted in the lower position of the release bearing.

- Do I need an additional gearbox adapter for the PMC Motorsport Chevrolet LS flywheel?
Yes, to install the flywheel you need to use the 35mm PMC Motorsport F0M50-LS gearbox adapter (for GS6-37DZ and GS6-53DZ HGA gearboxes) or F0M57-LS (for GS6-53DZ HGD HGU HGK JGA gearboxes).
- Which starter motor should I use with the PMC Motorsport Chevrolet LS flywheel?
You should use the Chevrolet LS (OE) starter motor.
- What is the torque specification for the PMC Motorsport Chevrolet LS flywheel bolts?
The flywheel should be tightened to 80Nm / 59ft·lb, using thread locker.
- Does the PMC flywheel need additional balancing?
Every PMC Motorsport flywheel is balanced before shipping (our tolerance is 4g). In the case of installing a custom clutch kit, we recommend an additional check.
