OVERVIEW

The Hang Tight PSC is the world first power steering controller that controls Volvo, Mazda, Dodge and Toyota electric power steering systems without reprogramming. This is every product needed to run a Volvo EPAS Power Steering pump in your car. This bundle does not include the pump itself.

Bundle Includes:

  • Hang Tight PSC
  • Hang Tight Potentiometer
  • Volvo Flying Lead or Connectors
  • -6 AN adapter

SUPPORTED VOLVO EPAS PUMPS

These pumps are medium strength, a bit stronger then the Mazda pump, and more expensive then all others. They can operate in limp mode without the CAN connected, but using a PSC you can control them same as the other units supported.

  • 2004-13 S30, S40, S60, C30, C40, V50 (early design)

 

ADDITIONAL PUMP INFO

  • Pressure Fitting: M16x1.5
  • Return fitting: 3/8 hose barb
  • Recommended fuse size: 80 amps
  • Recommended power wire size: 8 AWG (10mm2)
  • Mounting orientation: Vertical
  • Fluid type: ATF or other
  • Reservior type: Integral or remote (depending on make/model source)
  • Max pressure: 1650 PSI (113 Bar)
  • Max Flow rate: 0.85 GPH (3.23 l/min)
