The BMW rear subframe has space for two mounting bushings, yet BMW chose to use only one, offset from the rear axis, to mount the differential bracket (BMW OE 33 17 2 284 775). During hard launches and sudden, frequent load changes (on/off throttle), this single factory rubber bushing is subjected to extreme torsional and directional forces. This leads to rapid degradation – failures are often visible as early as 50,000 – 65,000 km – resulting in unstable and potentially "clunking" rear suspension behavior.

Our dual differential mount (adapter) is CNC-machined from aluminum and designed to utilize the second mounting position in the original subframe. Adding a second bushing prevents the differential from twisting under load.

The adapter limits drivetrain movement, which:

Improves throttle response - providing a more controlled and predictable chassis reaction during acceleration and deceleration.

Better power transfer to the road by reducing "wheel hop."

Reduces the loads acting on the bushings.

The corrosion-resistant aluminum bracket (adapter) has been optimized for high stress, withstanding enormous torque values. It performs perfectly in both daily-driven cars and on the track, working with a single OE bushing or two tuning bushings.
