An aluminum adapter that allows you to connect (swap / convert) a Toyota JZ 1JZ 2JZ engine (GE, GTE, VVT-i and non-VVT-i versions) with a manual or automatic ZF / Getrag gearbox from BMW. The adapter supports popular manual gearboxes such as ZF 5, GS5-39DZ, GS6-53DZ/BZ, Getrag 420G, as well as modern automatics like ZF 8HP or dual-clutch Getrag DCT DKG. It is the most universal kit available on the market.
Whether you plan to replace the stock automatic transmission (A650E, A47DE, A340H, A340E) in your Toyota Supra MKIII / MKIV, Altezza AS300, Chaser, Mark II, Soarer or Aristo, or you are performing a 1JZ / 2JZ swap in another vehicle, the PMC Motorsport adapter is the perfect solution. Adding power or switching from a manual to an automatic? With the PMC Motorsport adapter that’s no problem. The design lets you move from a 5-speed to a 6-speed, or from a manual to an automatic 8HP or DCT DKG, simply by changing the flywheel or torque-converter adapter – the gearbox adapter itself stays the same.
