PHR - PHR 5.0", 600hp Intercooler for Lexus IS300

Design

Here at Powerhouse we set out to design a bolt on FMIC that fit behind the bumper cover with minimal trimming, and also fit under the crash bar without any modification to it. 

Fitment

Fitment of FMIC's is always critical, we strive to maximize room available to us with minimal cutting of body panels. We are proud to offer this bolt on solution that requires no cutting of the factory crash bar and no removal of the foam.

It does require some modification of the body behind where the inlet and outlet to the intercooler are, as well as some trimming of the front bumper cover.

Size

We wanted to fit the maximum amount of intercooler core on the front of the IS300 without modifying the crash bar. What we ended up with is a core that is 5.5" tall, 22" in length, and 5" THICC! 3.0" Inlet and Outlet. This core allowed us to develop what we consider the perfect size intercooler for a street car capable of supporting 600hp.

Like most of our products we have various finish options, this product is no different. While you can always order it raw aluminum we also have 3 different powder coat options available

Modifications

While we did what we could to make everything fit, there is some slight modification required. You will need to clearance part of the body to clear the intercooler piping, as well as a little trimming of the bumper cover.

You will also need to modify the high side AC line or purchase our High Side AC Line Kit for IS300 to gain the clearance you need.

Piping

We have off the shelf piping available for select configurations, and offer the option for custom piping if you need it.
